Sony launched today the Xperia S also known as Nozomi LT26i, with a “Sony” logo on the front, instead of “Sony Ericsson” logo which was seen in earlier versions of the device. The Xperia S comes with a 4.3-inch (1280x720) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (MSM8260 chipset), 32GB of internal memory, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Upgradable to Android 4.0 in 2nd half of 2012) and a 12 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R sensor.

The phone will be available from the second quarter of 2012 and will come in two colors – black and silver.
